Global Alternatives to Slash and Burn Agriculture Phase II

The long term goal of this project is to reduce global warming, conserve biodiversity, and alleviate poverty in the tropical forest margins by promoting the development of alternatives to slash and burn agriculture that are ecologically sound, economically viable, and culturally acceptable.
