Central American Markets for Biodiversity (CAMBio): Mainstreaming Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable use within Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Development and Financing

The project will support the mainstreaming of biodiversity conservation and sustainable use within small, micro, and medium sized enterprise development and financing in five Central American countries (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua). The project goal is to ensure that micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises in Central America increasingly contribute to sustainable development and environmental protection by incorporating biodiversity concerns in their products and services The project objective is to remove barriers in banking, business, and enabling environment to catalyze biodiversity-friendly investments in micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises in Central America
