Upcoming deadlines and events in preparation for COP-7

The session focused on upcoming deadlines and events in preparation for the seventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Minamata Convention on Mercury (COP-7). COP-7 will be held in Geneva from 6 to 10 September 2027. The session also included updates on the status of fundraising to support the implementation of the Convention. Marie-Claire Lhenry, President of COP-7 (France), and Monika Stankiewicz, Executive Secretary of the Convention, delivered opening remarks, followed by other presenters.
