To support transformation of food systems that improve food security and protect their natural resource base with focus on production of rice and secondary crops in Tandjilé Province.<br>
Targets:<br>
• Target 1.1: Improve livelihoods for 19,000 small-scale producers and rural dwellers, including 10,450 women and 8,550 men.<br>
• Target 1.2: Ensure 500 other beneficiaries directly benefit from the project, with at least 40% women, representing a minimum of 5 institutions, including at least 3 women-oriented organizations.<br>
• Target 2: Restore 2,000 hectares of land through sustainable land use practices.<br>
• Target 3: Improve land use practices on 10,000 hectares, excluding protected areas.<br>
• Target 4: Achieve or surpass 316,175 metric tons of carbon equivalent in emissions sequestered or avoided in agriculture, forestry, and other land use (AFOLU), confirmed by a second field assessment for scalability in the region.<br>
• Target 5: Strengthen 3 agricultural value chains (rice, sesame, groundnut) through innovative and inclusive business models.<br>
