Rehabilitation of the Beetham Wastewater Stabilization Ponds (WSP) (Trinidad and Tobago)

The project aims to reduce pollution from land-based sources, particularly the Beetham Wastewater Stabilisation Ponds, improve ecosystem health, contribute to biodiversity conservation in the Caroni Basin, and reduce marine hypoxia in surrounding coastal ecosystems and the Gulf of Paria, through the implementation of nature-based solutions.
