Promoting adaptation to climate change through innovation and entrepreneurship for green jobs and livelihood improvement in rain-fed and pasture agricultural communities in Somalia

To strengthen the resilience of Somalia’s agricultural sector, particularly in the Southwest State, by increasing productivity in rainfed and agro-pastoral systems, reducing post-harvest losses, improving access to climate finance for smallholder farmers and MSMEs and scaling adoption of climate-smart technologies. This will be achieved through institutional capacity building, support for inclusive MSME-driven innovation, and gender-responsive financing mechanisms aligned with national adaptation priorities.
