Development of information management systems, Training of stakeholders, Production of studies/analyses, Data collection, National Implementation Plan development, Legal framework development/update

Expected outcome
  • OUTPUT 1: The use of all mercury added products in Annex A of the Minamata Convention in Madagascar is controlled and graduated phase out
  • OUTPUT 2: The regulations on the management of mercury in Madagascar are developed and / or updated
  • OUTPUT 3: The national implementation Plan for the Minamata Convention is elaborated and disseminated
  • OUTPUT 4: Decision makers are convinced and people are sensitized for the content of the Minamata Convention on Mercury in Madagascar
  • OUTPUT 5: Monitoring, evaluation and audit
