La sesión en línea de Minamata, organizada conjuntamente con la Red Medioambiental de Ginebra, tendrá lugar el 22 de septiembre (de 11:00 a 12:00 CEST).
Digital transformation is creating new opportunities for multilateral environmental agreements (MEAs) to strengthen implementation, improve access to knowledge and enhance cooperation. Organized on the occasion of Digital Cooperation Day, this session will explore how digital strategies, interoperable data, and responsible AI can connect environmental knowledge, improve information exchange, reduce duplication, and support more informed decision-making. Through practical examples, the discussion will highlight opportunities for greater digital cooperation across MEAs, UNEP and partners, while addressing the governance, quality and human oversight needed for effective innovation. Further details will follow soon.
