Conservation and Sustainable Use of the Cienaga Grande de Santa Marta

The general objective of the project is to improve the CGSM ecosystem’s health to foster biodiversity conservation. The specific objectives are the following: (i) Strengthening the environmental governance of the ecoregion in a participatory manner; (ii) Promoting the adoption of tools for biodiversity conservation, improving strategic ecosystems connectivity and water use efficiency; and (iii) Increasing the area under sustainable production practices in the Aracataca and Fundación watersheds.
