Alignment of National Action Programs with the UNCCD 10-Year Strategy and reporting process, as per obligations to the UNCCD

Jordan has prepared its National Strategy and Action Plan on Desertification( NAP) in 2006 . Since then, there has been new threats to ecosystems , new issues have arisen and priorities have changed. New and updated approaches need to be addressed . The COP also adopted theUNCCD 10 year strategy . Also, COP Decisions require reporting under the UNCCD .<br>
In light of these local and global developments and requirements, the NAP needs to be updated. <br>
