Harmonization of National Action Plan to combat desertification in Armenia and Preparation of National Report

1. The review of “National Action Plan of UNCCD in Armenia” proceeds from UNCCD 10 year strategic plan which established the scope of strengthening activities for the implementation of the Convention(2008-2018). It was established during the 8th session of the COP by the decision 3/COP.8 . Besides NAP was developed about 10 years ago on the basis of 1990-1995 existing data.<br>

2. The elaboration of 2012 National Report on the implementation of UNCCD in Armenia proceeds from the requirements of the 26 article of UNCCD, as well as from the decisions 13/COP.9, 3/COP.10 of the Conference of Parties. <br>
