Uruguay Wind Energy Programme (UWEP)

The global environment objective is to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions by implementing large-scale, grid-connected wind energy systems in Uruguay. The strategic goal of this initiative is to remove the present barriers for the commercial development of wind energy in the country and establish a viable showcase and basis for replication.
