Ministry of Environmental Protection (MoEP)* *The Ministry of Environmental Protection (MoEP) serves as the designated national entity appointed by the Government of Turkmenistan to coordinate/manage all vertical fund projects, including those within the GEF portfolio. While the Ministry of Energy is expected to act as the primary beneficiary and oversee the technical implementation of the proposed project interventions, the MoEP is expected to maintain its role as the main national implementing partner.
