Promoting Index-based Weather Insurance for Small Holder Farmers in Burkina Faso

Strengthen the resilience of smallholder farmers, inclusive of the most vulnerable such as women, to the adverse impacts of climate change by giving them access to an Index-Based Weather Insurance (IBWI) for their crops, and to complementary measures that will reinforce their resilience.
