To enable the GoI and relevant stakeholders to make the transformative shift to de-carbonize transport systems, catalyse access to finance for a large-scale adoption of EV across vehicle segments and reduce air pollution in cities by promoting scale-up of electric mobility(1) in India.<br>

1- Electric Mobility (e-Mobility) / Electro mobility (or e-Mobility) represents the concept of using electric powertrain technologies, in-vehicle information, and communication technologies and connected infrastructures to enable the electric propulsion of vehicles and fleets. Here the electric powertrain replaces the conventional Internal Combustion Engine and transmission with a battery powered electric motor. Conventional gasoline fuel is replaced by battery packs and electricity stored in it.
