Today: Minamata COP-4 Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony of the online segment of the fourth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Minamata Convention on Mercury (COP-4) will be broadcast YouTubeLive on Monday 1 November, from 13h00-13h30 CET.

Among the high-level speakers, the Conference will include:

• Siti Nurbaya Bakar, Minister of Environment and Forestry (Republic of Indonesia)
• Inger Andersen, Executive Director of the UN Environment Programme
• Rosa Vivien Ratnawati, President of COP-4 (Republic of Indonesia)
• Monika Stankiewicz, Executive Secretary of the Minamata Convention on Mercury

More than 900 participants are already confirmed to attend the meeting. Registration is needed to participate in plenary sessions and side events.
