From February to November 2025, the fifth season will feature webinars on implementation review, mercury science and preparation for the sixth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP-6).
Minamata Online is a series of webinars designed to provide insights on the implementation of the Convention's provisions, as well as to explore policy and scientific aspects.
As in previous occasions, the sessions are usually 1-1.5 hours long, some of which will be held twice on the same day to accommodate different time zones. Each session will be announced individually, and registration will be available on the Minamata Convention website.
You can register now to the next sessions:
- Thursday 13 February: Upcoming deadlines and events in preparation for COP-6.
- Wednesday 5 March: Unmasking mercury and colorism in cosmetics, co-organized with UNEP and the Geneva Environment Network.
