Proposal by Botswana and Burkina Faso, on behalf of the Africa region, to amend Part I of Annex A to the Minamata Convention on Mercury to eliminate fluorescent lighting to be considered by the Conference of the Parties at its fifth meeting

This briefing, held in Geneva and streamed live, will provide an update on the preparations for UNEA-6, which will take place from 26 February to 1 March 2024, in Nairobi.

The event, which will take place on December 1 during the UN Climate Change Conference (COP28), focuses on linkages and opportunities for integrated actions, and will be live streamed on YouTube.
